HOW LOGIC CAN PREVENT DISAPPOINTMENT AT THE BALLOT BOX

Voting for a politician carries risks. You may vote for someone who shares your mindset and values. Yet in some cases, this person flip flopped on issues that you deeply cared about. Sometimes this is to be expected in the political arena. But how can you vote more wisely next time?
Politicians enter politics for a variety of different reasons. You have some that actually care about your views and want to help create a better future for yourself and your family and others that are simply corrupt who "only" think about themselves. Unfortunately, relying on words alone is a bit risky. As words can be abused and turned upside down in order to get more votes!
This is why morality should matter. People who become politicians usually do it for ambition, altruism and of course, money! Just think of all the special perks a politician could gain if they side with a special interest.
A person's ethics should be one of the most important things about that individual. This is typically vital if you vote for someone high in office. Looking at a person's past behaviors in their career, family and political lives is extremely important. Did you see or hear something that betrayed your values? If so, voting for that particular politician may inevitably backfire.
One of the worst and most damaging qualities a politician could have is narcissism. It simply means that this person is self absorbed and out for their particular interests only! Such people should be avoided, as they carry extreme risks. Some risks might be financial, while others more dire.
The choice is yours to make. However, if you have ever been disappointed by a politician that you once voted for, then be prepared to think more deeply about your next trip to the ballot box.
5 USEFUL TIPS TO CONSIDER BEFORE VOTING -
1. Are you voting in correlation with your emotive state? As fear, anger, hopelessness and desperation can impair your logic.
2. Does the candidate often exaggerate or lie?
3. Is Morality and ethics important to your candidate, if not you may be voting for a narcissist.
4. Does the candidate regularly avoid the media or is afraid of being scrutinized. If so, you may have an incompetent candidate.
5. What do you think are the "real" reasons why this candidate is running for political office?
Ask yourself those important questions before you vote. If you cannot truthfully answer them then their is a good chance that you'll be horribly disappointed!
